Workers go across a road in the midst of smoggy circumstances in New Delhi. On Saturday morning, the Air Quality File (AQI) in Delhi was recorded at 413 (serious class), information from the Focal Contamination Control Board showed.

Delhi’s typical air quality record (AQI) plunged to 468 on Friday from 392 on the earlier day because of ominous northwesterly air that brings poisons from the stubble fires, more settled breeze and plunging temperatures. The air quality has stayed in “extremely poor” to “serious” levels in Delhi since the last week.

An AQI between 0-50 is thought of “good”, 51-100 “palatable”, 101-200 “moderate”, 201-300 “poor”, 301-400 “extremely poor” and 401-500 “serious”. An AQI over 500 falls in the “extreme in addition to” classification.

Lieutenant Lead representative (LG) VK Saxena gathered a crisis meeting on the air contamination emergency, requesting endeavors to be moved forward to control emanations. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was out of the city, couldn’t go to the gathering.
